Fan requires large air volume; It is required that the blades are light, and under the same input power, the lighter blades are responsible for less, so the conversion efficiency of the blades will be greatly improved. Fan blades are required to have high tensile strength, corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance.
At the same air volume, the noise produced by low-speed wide-leaf fan and high-speed narrow-leaf fan is much lower. Under the same input, wide blades produce more air volume than narrow blades. Bionic design of blade shape (whale, wing, serration, etc.) can effectively reduce noise and enhance energy conversion efficiency of blade.
At present, the blade materials mainly include: glass fiber reinforced plastic, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, aluminum magnesium alloy die casting, nylon and other materials. The material of the blade is different according to the place of use. The commonly used negative pressure fan blades are aluminum alloy and stainless steel. However, the aluminum-magnesium alloy die-cast fan blades are resistant to high temperature due to the characteristics of materials, and are relatively stable and difficult to deform and fracture. Fiberglass fan blades are used in acid and alkali places, and are usually corrosive in electroplating plants.
